(I think maybe I've made a decision on the style - or the design, generally speaking, it has too taken a long time to find ud, what I like - in fact, I kind of just weakly knew, that I like spartan (to a certain extent, I have no dishwasher, but do have a washing machine), raw, rustic and industrial, besides I have a certain fondness for concrete and raw brick walls)

(Years ago, in the early 90s, I painted my bathroom gray (easier to maintain than white and by the way a really ugly little bathroom) and then was the problem of all the ugly pipes (different vintages, ongoing repairs for years, which were also really ugly - I just hate pipes and plumbing) so I painted them black and when I moved the new resident was falling over, ugly as she said and my only thought, much nicer than before, then you would run away screaming. And just imagine I still like that, I just found out today)

Scandinavian style - New nordic style

I'm Danish so that makes sense

This style originated as a way to make Nordic homes feel bright and clean during dark winter days - One element of traditional Scandinavian home decor that is still used frequently in New Nordic design is raw, bleached hardwood or wood-look floors - In an effort to add a more personal touch to their decorating, designers are focused more on decluttering and opening up a space, rather than recreating the typical minimalist look of Scandinavian decor - One noticeable difference between "New Nordic" design and traditional Scandinavian design is the frequent use of color. While white is often the dominant color in Scandinavian design - and still heavily featured in this newer twist - bolder hues are also being used to liven up and add personality to a room

Here's what you'll need to recreate the Nordic look in your own home.

Soft, earthy neutrals - Pops of deeper colour - Warm timber - Cosy factor - Texture galore - Curves - Black accents - Feature lighting - Abstract artworks

Defining a Style Series: What is Nordic Design? A Blend of Form and Function https://www.mymove.com/home-inspiration/interior-design/defining-a-style-series-what-is-nordic-design/

We can't say enough good things about Nordic design. Though this aesthetic has been around since the post-World War II era - and even longer in Northern Europe - it has recently experienced a sharp spike in popularity. Since the look is defined by clean lines, chic minimalism and an overall airy feel, it's not hard to see why so many are intent on bringing a Scandinavian feel to their interiors.

The most-used Scandinavian colors are neutral and monochromatic - bright, warm whites with black and tan - with pops of color added used as accents. Plush pinks, gray-blues, and colors rooted in nature - like sage - are the most popular in Scandinavian design.
